What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible Word of God (II Peter 1:21; II Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe the Godhead consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (II Cor. 13:14)

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in the Son and the Holy Spirit (II Cor. 13:14), Three in One and One in Three (John 1:1-3).

We believe man fell by transgression from a state of righteousness and holiness in which he was first created, into a state of death in trespasses and sin in which he is held as a slave of sin until he is delivered by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 5:12-21).

We believe in salvation through the redeeming blood of Christ by repentance toward God, faith in Jesus Christ, and confession of his Lordship (Hebrews 9:22; Romans 10:9-10, 13).

We believe in water baptism by immersion for those who have repented and believed - signifying the burying of the sin nature which results in cutting off (heart circumcision) the slave relationship of sin (Romans 6:1-6; Col. 2:11-13).

We believe in sanctification and holiness of heart and the overcoming life as Scriptural requirements for the Body of Christ (Eph. 5:25-27).

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the ability of speaking in tongues and the present ministry of the Spirit and through the believer as manifest in the five-fold ministries, the gifts of the Spirit, and the fruit of the Spirit (Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6) (Eph. 4:11) (I Cor. 12:8-11) (Gal. 5:22, 23).

We believe in divine healing (I Peter 2:24).

We believe in evangelistic and missionary fervor and endeavor (Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15-18).

We believe the true church is One body of many members consisting of "born again" Christians regardless of church affiliation and that we as individuals become members of the Body through the power of the Spirit; and so we have fellowship one with another (I Cor. 12:14-24; Eph. 2:13-22; 4:3-6).

We believe in the practice of observing the Lord's Supper regularly as in the Scriptures (Luke 22:19-20; I Cor. 11:23-34).

We believe in tithing as taught in the Scriptures (Matthew 23:23; Mal. 3:10).

We believe in Christ's imminent personal return in power and great glory, in His millennial reign and in His everlasting domination (Acts 1:11; Rev. 20:4; Dan. 7:14).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal separation from God (John 5:38-39; Rev. 20:15).
